Successful Fitness App Launch
We had a 4-month window prior to the planned launch date to begin brand campaigns and build a lead list. We started collecting prospective clients by running broad ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram to connect with potential kickboxing enthusiasts. The initial goal was to acquire as many top-of-funnel leads as possible that we could then use for re-marketing purposes. After building an initial lead database, we began re-marketing more specific content ads to the responsive and active segments of that list. This included video and photo ads depicting demos and wireframes of the app as well as its functionality. We particularly used videos to highlight the personalized feel and overall premier customer experience of the fitness app. Viewers were meant to feel as if a trainer would be right there with them throughout the duration of a high-impact, high-technique workout. By using “discounts” and “early access” call-to-actions (CTAs), we homed in on specific high target leads. In conclusion, we generated over 29,000 app downloads at an average cost of only $1.85 per download.
